HOW TO DO A NANDROID BACKUP!!

Nandroid Backup!

A backup taken at the right time can save you a LOT of hassle. A NANROID backup is basically a backup of your Android operating system from the phone’s NAND memory, saved to the storage card. It is always advisable to take a NAND backup of your phone before you attempt to flash a new ROM to it so that in case anything goes wrong, you can revert your phone back to its previously working state. In the following guide, we will tell you how you can take a NANDROID backup and restore your phone from one you’ve already taken.

BUT WHAT IS A NANDROID BACKUP?
-a nandroid backup is the backup of the android system that is the system image of the running operating system. It is a great tweak for the regular developer. its also very helpful when you are going to install a new ROM or new OS to the device. it makes a restore point for the system so in case of any failure or  due to any fault while installing ROM your device has been stuck to start-up or its not booting up. SO the nandroid backup done when your device was running perfectly fine will rescue you from this situation. It will make a backup of your contacts,messages,installed applications,whatsapp messages,wechat messages,and so so so on.......

Now the question arises how to perform a nandroid backup!

I will tell you this i a very simple way.but before proceeding further check that you have clockworkmod recovery installed!

CREATING AND RESTORING NANDROID BACKUP

Now you must be familiar with CWM now boot to CWM recovery and then search for BACKUP AND RESTORE option select it. now there will be options as backup,restore,clean cache,install update.zip,etc,etcSelect BACKUP Now it will make you confirm for backup. select YES.
Done IT WILL START COPYING FILEs.......
FOR RESTORING THIS BACKUP Select RESTORE and then select the folder clockwork and then select the date on which you created backup..
